Discover how to create a thriving native garden by starting with the foundation—your soil! In “Garden Design from the Ground Up: Using Your Native Soil to Inform Your Native Plant Choices,” you’ll learn how to assess your soil’s unique characteristics and choose native plants that will flourish in your environment. Gain practical tips to create a beautiful, low-maintenance garden that supports local ecosystems. Whether you’re a beginner or seasoned gardener, this program will help you build a garden that works with nature, not against it
William Kirst is the founder of Adapt: Community Supported Ecology a 501(c)3 that trains Community Leaders who, in turn, offer a variety of free ecological services, and is co-owner of Adapt Landscapes LLC a full-scale garden design and installation company for those seeking larger, elegant native plant and perennial edible landscapes. While not freaking out about running two organizations, he likes to hang out with his children – doing art or playing football, play a variety of musical instruments, sing with Adapt Landscapes co-owner Kat Baskin, read science fiction and pretend that someday he will start running or practicing yoga again.
The February 26 program is a virtual event and will be hosted on Zoom.
We can accommodate up to 300 participants.
