Drop-In Design Sessions for a proposed trail in the former Fruitbelt railroad/AT&T corridor

Oshtemo Township has purchased a two-mile segment of the old Fruitbelt RR embankment, and the plan is to create a bike-pedestrian path and to restore native plants along the right-of-way. Please consider attending one of the design sessions to learn what’s going on and to offer suggestions.

Date: Thursday, September 30, 2021

Drop-In Times: 11 am-1 pm & 4—6 pm
(The sessions are the same. Arrive when convenient, stay as long as you choose! )

Location: Flesher Field pavilion, 3664 South 9th Street, Kalamazoo, MI

  • The first phase of the proposed trail will extend from Flesher Field, 3664 South 9th Street, to the Township’s south border, approx. 400’ west of O’Park Street. It will be located in the former Fruitbelt railroad corridor. (See map on flyer)
